Located in a quiet forested area on a small residential hill, this hotel offers a peaceful getaway. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with beautiful forest views. The bathroom is a highlight, featuring a large spa bath with hot spring water tap. The staff is polite and professional, providing excellent service. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options. The facilities include a hot spring pool and three different restaurants.
One drawback is the location, as it is a bit inconvenient for exploring the city.

Gastronomic delight and well-prepared food. Fantastic facility, beautiful garden. Great professional staff, accommodating language barriers. Soundproof rooms, serene forested area. Phenomenal bathroom with soaking tub and top-rate bidet. Large room, didn't want to leave! Splendid buffet breakfast, endless choices. Nice big room with sauna pool. Comfortable hotel with nice city view. Close to industrial area, good for business or family retreats. Quiet rooms, nice shower and bathtub, swimming pool. 3 restaurants, helpful staff. Lots to do, modern feel. Would return to stay!

The food: Gastronomic delight, well-prepared. Facility: Fantastic, beautiful garden, serene. Staff: Great, professional, accommodating. Soundproof rooms: Occasionally heard muted laughter, but enjoyed melodic sound of birds in the morning. Bathroom: Amazing soaking tub connected to hot springs, automatic privacy shades, top-rate bidet. Room: Very large, didn't want to leave.

During our stay at Freshfields, we were amazed by the fine view of the mountains from our room. The private hot-spring bath-tub in the bathroom provided a rejuvenating experience. The staff at the hotel were professional and accommodating. The buffet breakfast and dinner, though average, were complimentary and offered a decent variety of options. we had a relaxing and enjoyable time at Freshfields and would definitely recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

The view from our room was breathtaking and the outdoor spa was very relaxing. We enjoyed the variety of pool temperatures and cascades as well as the sauna and hammam. the staff was helpful and welcoming, and the room was spacious with a nice marble bathtub.
The hotel was quite far away from the city center, which made it difficult to explore Taichung. We also encountered some issues with the cleanliness of our room, including hair and grime in the bathroom.

We had an amazing stay at a secluded hotel in the hills with spectacular forest views. Here, they provided us with some luxurious amenities that fulfilled all our needs. the spa and wellness center were top quality, offering massages, steam rooms, saunas, hot spring bath, and open-air bath.
The only minor issue we faced was the location, as it was a bit inconvenient to travel to Taichung. the hotel provided an arrangement of shuttle service and bikes to ride around the area.

This hotel offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Guests can enjoy the mineral springs spa, spacious and clean rooms with hot springs baths, friendly and multilingual staff, and a varied breakfast buffet. the hotel also has a swimming pool, playground, and ball court. Some rooms have mountain views.
The restaurant is not up to par with the rest of the hotel.

The Freshfields Hotel in Taichung is fantastic! The facility is beautiful and well-appointed with a serene garden area.
